Scientist wants you to believe the theory of evolution. A theory – simply put, means:
“WE THINK that it’s that way!” However, the evidence that scientist have collected over the years does not support their pet theory! There is NO CREDIBLE PROOF that human life evolved from other animals. If you want to believe that your distant past ancestors were a bunch of monkeys swinging around in trees, that is your prerogative – Satan’s great deception (Revelation 12:9) will go well with you.
However, there is abundant, rock solid, CREDIBLE PROOF to the contrary – available for any whose minds can accept the actual facts – the concrete evidence that PROVES you were created by a divine, all-wise, all-powerful CREATOR.
You can believe that you evolved by natural happenstance – with absolutely no purpose for your life – other than to live and die and that all there is – nothing more! Or, you can prove the existence of a Divine Personage and the fact that He created you for a grand purpose – a purpose so awesome that it boggles the mind to think about!

Were You Born For A Purpose?
Did an intelligent, almighty God create HUMANITY and put us here on the earth for a definite PURPOSE? Or, did we humans just happen – come to be formed and shaped by purely natural causes. Did human life develop, over millions of years by mutation from other animal species, or by Divine creation?
These are two possibilities for humanity’s origin and only one of them is right. Only one can be proven!
Despite no tangible evidence to support it, the theory of evolution has gained almost universal acceptance in our education system - being taught as actual fact. Our children are being taught that their distant ancestors were apes. The word theory simply put means: “we think that it’s that way.” And the whole theory is based on a “we think that it’s so” kind of reasoning - with absolutely no proof to support the possibility of it being so.
If human life JUST HAPPENED by natural causes, it would mean that your life was not designed for any purpose. You were born, you live, you die and that’s it…nothing more.
However, if a Divine Creator DID create you, it would mean that you were created for a definite purpose, because God does not create anything in vain – for no purpose at all. If you were created for a purpose, what is that purpose – and why is humanity so totally unaware of it?
Why are YOU on this planet? Do you know? Do even care?
Inventors of the evolutionary doctrine have failed to provide any definite purpose for the presence of humanity on earth. Neither do they provide us with any knowledge as to why mankind possesses such awesome intellectual and productive powers that he can fly to the moon and return, yet, on the other hand, is utterly helpless to solve the countless problems, sufferings and evils of this world. Likewise, our religious institutions has failed to provide the knowledge of humanity’s true purpose in life.
It is imperative that we find the answer, because, our number one problem has become the question of SURVIVAL. Our very lives are at stake, and time is fast running out on us.
Our education system, evolutionary biologist, scientist, technology, nor this world's religions, can give any explanation, offer any solutions, or give us ANY HOPE!
It’s a matter of survival and the facts are frightening! Today, any leader of any country could plunge this world into nuclear World War Three at the push of a button. It could erase all life from this planet!
Will mankind take the next step and destroy himself – blow himself to bits over some little grudge, or bitterness? Science and technology have provided that much for us, the ability to totally eradicate all human life from planet earth. And mankind seems to be about to do just that!
Let’s consider this; could it be possible that there is another source that would provide us with heretofore-unrecognized new light on this vital subject of survival?
Perhaps there exist new knowledge that is vital to humanity’s survival and world peace within the biblical revelation that has gone unrecognized by the various religious organizations. Time is running out for humanity, and unless we can find solutions to our mountain of problems – imminent destruction and the possible death of humanity lies in wait just around the corner. Therefore, if there is a remote possibility that new knowledge does exists, shouldn’t we be vigorously searching for it and perhaps lessen the possibility of human annihilation.
The Holy Bible has become the world’s number one best selling Book, yet it is the least read, and certainly the least understood of all other books. This Book lays claim to being the source of all basic and necessary revealed knowledge. It is the INSTRUCTION MANUAL, which the Creator of mankind sent along with His creation – as a guide for humanity to know how to live their lives properly.
Is it possible that this least understood of all books could reveal to us the PURPOSE of mankind on earth? Could it reveal why man can be so creative and yet so destructive? Does it reveal why humanity is so utterly helpless to solve its own problems, even though it possesses awesome intellectual and productive powers? Does it give us vital answers to vital questions, and offer solutions? Does it give us hope?
Let’s face it, science can’t! Neither can the religious organizations of this world, nor for that matter can our educational systems.
Wouldn’t it be foolish to reject the revealed knowledge contained within the Holy Bible, without at least considering the possibility that it might provide the solutions to our problems of life? We should carefully, earnestly consider God’s revealed knowledge – His crucial message to mankind in this crisis hour of human history. In doing so, we can expect exciting and very encouraging surprises that are revealed within His INTRUCTION MANUAL for mankind! The answers and solutions are there, and if man would only apply them the world would be a much better place in which to live.
It’s shocking that this missing dimension in knowledge has been overlooked for millenniums by the world’s religions, science and education. Also overlooked is the fact that our Creator tells us clearly and emphatically – in the first two chapters of His word – that man is neither an animal nor an immortal soul!
In these first two chapters of Genesis, the theory of evolution is clearly disproved!
In Genesis 1:1, it’s stated positively that God exists – that He created the heavens and the earth. Also in the first chapter it is clearly and positively stated that man did not evolve from an animal and that in fact man is not an animal.
In the second chapter God Himself says positively that man does not have, nor is he, an immortal soul. – Contrary to the very fundamental belief of most religions.
In Genesis 1:1 it states: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” A clear positive statement – no perhaps, maybe, or theories about it!
It’s needful to note that in writing Genesis, Moses wrote in the Hebrew language and the English word “God” is usually translated from the Hebrew word Elohim – a noun, plural in form, but with either singular or plural usage. It means one God but more than one Person composing that one God – just as a family is one family yet composed of more than one person. God is a Family! That is clearly evident throughout the Bible.
Notice the wording in verse 21 of Genesis 1: “And God created great whales…after their kind and every winged fowl after his kind…” Then in verse 25: “And God made the beast of the earth after his kind and cattle after their kind…” But in verse 26 it reads: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”
Did you notice it – that all animals were all made after the animal kind, but man was made after the God kind. That’s what your Bible says!
And notice that God did not say, “Let me make man after my kind,” But he used the word OUR. God the Father is speaking to the Word (John 1:1). (The word translated as “Word” in John 1:1 is from the Greek and means Spokesman.) He was the Spokesman of God and also God. He later became the Son of God as Jesus Christ about 2,000 years ago. Jesus (The Word, or Spokesman of God) was there when the angels were created, and also when the heavens and the earth were created.
Now notice that in Genesis chapter two beginning at verse 4, a different name for God is given. YHWH Elohim. In the Authorized King James Version of the Bible, the Hebrew YHWH is translated “LORD” always in capital letters and is in verse 4 shown as “LORD God” There is no English word that exactly renders the true meaning of the Hebrew YHWH. In the Fenton translation of the Bible YHWH is rendered “the Ever-Living.” The Moffatt translation renders it “the Eternal.” The name used in the Old Testament Hebrew YHWH, is the same name in the New Testament Greek as Logos – translated as “the Word” (John 1:1-3). It means He is the One in the God Family who is the Spokesman – by whom God the Father created all things. He is the One who came in the human flesh, Jesus Christ.
Man was made in the image and likeness of God – in the very form and shape of God. This clearly shows, beyond dispute, that man is not an animal! Man, unlike animals, was created to have a relationship with God – his Creator, and this will become more apparent as we proceed.
There is a meaning to human life unrealized by mankind! There is a special purpose for the creation of the human species and it’s revealed in why God made man in His own image.
Winston Churchill, the late Prime Minister of Great Britain, actually gave the answer when, before the American Congress, stated: “there is a PURPOSE being worked out here below.” He was referring to a Higher Power, above, doing the working out.
It is obvious that man fails to understand that purpose.
Take a close look at all the animals in the world. Can any of them think, reason, plan, design, devise, and then by making or creating, bring about those things thought out, designed and planned. Of course not! However, by instinct birds build nests and beavers build dams, but they do not think about how they are going to build them. They do not plan or design them before they set about the task of building.
Animals do things by the instinct that God created in them. Yes, by instinct the beaver does build a dam. But all these dams follow the same pattern. The beaver does not think out and plan some new design for its dam. Ants build anthills; rodents, snakes, and gophers dig holes. But they always follow the same pattern. No thought out new designs.
Some time ago, a test was conducted with Weaver birds. They kept the birds in a place where they could not get any nest-building materials for five successive generations. The fifth generation had never seen a nest before. But when different types of materials, including nest-building materials, were made available to them, that fifth generation gathered up the right material and immediately started building the same kind of nest that Weaver birds have always built. They built Weaver bird nests - not Sparrow’s nests, or Robins’ nests.
Why are animals equipped with their marvelous instinct – yet having no mind power as humans do? Evolution cannot supply the answer. Nor can evolution explain the absence of instinct in humans. It cannot explain the vast gulf between the function of the animal brain with mere instinct and that of the human mind with power of intellect.
Man can think out, plan, design and build a vehicle that can take him to the moon and back safely. He can build massive superstructures, cars, planes and submarines. Of all life created from matter, man alone was given the power of intellect. The power to think, reason, design, make choices and carry out the plans they make – creative intellectual power.
Man has taken the intellectual power that God gave him and built farm tools and construction equipment, beautiful homes, cars, trains, huge ocean-going ships and tiny computer chips – but he also built swords, spears, guns, tanks, missiles, nuclear bombs and massive weapons of war, and then set out to conquer and destroy – to take what wasn’t his by killing enormous numbers of human life.
With the power that he possesses man has discovered that he can produce explosives so powerful that he can move mountains if necessary. Nations became obsessed with the need to build more nuclear bombs faster than their enemy. They have succeeded in building weapons of mass destruction that can literally destroy all life on the planet SEVERAL TIMES OVER – when once is quite sufficient!
Just think about it. God endowed man with a portion of His actual creative power of planning, designing, inventing, and producing. Man in turn, used that creative power to devise weapons of mass destruction so powerful that he can now kill all life from planet earth. He has used what God gave him for destructive purposes.
It has been said that; “everything man’s hand ever touched of God’s creation, man has polluted, befouled, besmirched, and ruined.” That does seem to be the case with man.
In his efforts to “improve” life for mankind, man has polluted his water resources, the air we breathe, and the food we need to eat. All of which are drastically polluted. Waste produces from big (and small) factories have polluted our rivers, streams and lakes, and even the air we have to breathe. Farmers, in an effort to grow more food for the ever-growing population of the world, have been using chemicals that are destroying the soil, and polluting the food.
Man, in his effort to live longer and better lives, has actually caused mankind to suffer from a host of serious health problems that have crammed our hospitals to the max. Man – it seems - is succeeding in literally killing himself!
Did an all-wise Creator God create man with such incredible intellect and power, and yet so destructive and helpless before all his problems? God creates everything for a purpose, so there has to be a purpose for you and me, and for all mankind! So, why did God place man here on earth and for what purpose?
I suggest that you to read with your own eye, from your own Bible, scriptures that you’ve probably never read before, or just overlooked. Scriptures that are true revelations that have been there all along! You will learn the shocking true explanations of why world conditions are so discouraging and evil - how most religionist and the world as a whole have rejected these revealed fundamental, basic truths!
If you do not have a Bible I suggest that you buy one without delay, so you can discover for yourself what God’s word really does say! Be ready for interesting, shocking and amazing mind-boggling revelations.
One of the first revelations that will challenge the mind is the fact that Adam’s creation was not complete!
The bible does not record a completed creation at all in Genesis the first chapter – called the “creation chapter.” Read that amazing truth again. Man’s creation was not finish with his physical creation! Be sure you understand that truth. It is important!
Genesis 1 records the physical creation – the mortal flesh and blood physical man and woman. They were the physical material with which to create the SPIRITUAL CREATION! This is plainly revealed in your Bible! The human family is the physical material with which God is creating THE CROWNING, SUPREME MASTERPIECE OF ALL HIS WORKS OF CREATION! God said that He would bring many sons into glory – a spiritual existence – and that will be when millions – even billions of humans are converted into perfect spiritual beings with holy righteous character! When the spiritual creation is complete, the physical body will be abolished and replaced with a spirit body – you can read about that in the 15th chapter of 1st Corinthians. First the physical body and then the spiritual body!
Man was created in the image and likeness of God – physically – not of spiritual composition! The spiritual composition would come later.
We plainly read in Genesis 2:7: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground (physical matter), and breathed into is nostrils the breath of life; and man (physical flesh and blood matter) became a living soul.”
Realize this now; when God breathed the breath of life into the nostrils of the physical man, physical man became a living soul. The soul (physical man) is composed of matter, not of spirit! Some religious organizations teach that the soul is composed of spirit – which, as you have now seen, contradicts the word of God. The Bible further says that: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4). If the soul was spiritual it could not die! God wanted people to understand that truth, so He had it recorded a second time in Ezekiel 18:20; “The soul that sinneth it shall die.”
In John 4:4 we learn that God is composed of Spirit – not physical matter. But search the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation and you will not find one statement that says that man is a spirit. Likewise, you will not find it written anywhere in God’s word that man is, or has, an immortal soul, nor will you find the phrase “immortality of the soul.” If man has, or is an immortal soul, he could not die and that also would contradict the word of God – which says that the soul that sins will die.
The word soul is translated from the Hebrew word nephesh – and is used in reference to animals as well as humans. This same word nephesh that is used in Genesis 2:7 as “soul,” is used in Genesis 1:20, 21 & 24 and translated those three times as “creature.”
Read on in Genesis 2: “And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden: and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” (verses 8-9).
“And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Verses 16-17).
Did you notice what was said? “Thou shalt surely die.” Man is mortal – man shall die! God said so! Man – composed of physical matter – is subject to death. “…it is appointed unto man once to die…” (Hebrews 9:27).
So we’ve learned that man is mortal – composed of physical matter; “…for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return” (Genesis 3:19) – and shall die.
The tree of life in the Garden of Eden symbolized eternal life. Man did not possess immortal life – it was freely offered to Adam and Eve as God’s gift, but they rejected it through disobedience.
The other symbolic tree in the Garden of Eden was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil – which pictured choosing for one’s own self what was right and wrong even if it was contrary to God’s revealed way. Adam and Eve chose to decide for themselves how to live and rejected God’s way – disobeyed God. When they made that decision, they brought on themselves the death penalty – and mankind has made to same decision ever since!
We read in Romans 6:28: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life…” The Bible definition of sin is very clear: “For sin is transgression of the law” (1 John 3:4 AKJV). If you transgress the law of God – you sin!
Basically, there are only two ways of life and they are directly opposite each other!
One is the way of give – of humility, and out-going concern for others. It’s the way of cooperation, serving, helping and sharing, of consideration, patience and kindness. The way of obedience to, reliance on, and worship solely of God. It is the God-centered way, of LOVE toward God and LOVE toward your neighbor.
The other is the way of get – of looking out for “good ole number one” - the selfish, self-centered way of vanity, lust, greed and unconcerned for the welfare of others.
One is the way of GOOD, and the other the way of EVIL! One leads to eternal life and the other leads to eternal death.
Not many today realize this vital fact: The “GIVE” way is an invisible, unalterable, unstoppable SPIRITUAL LAW – a Law that is on-going in active motion at all times. In principle, this Spiritual Law is summarized in the Ten Commandments. All human relationships are governed and regulated by it. It’s as REAL and inflexibly relentless as the law of gravity!
God created all matter, force and energy, the laws of physics and chemistry, gravity and inertia and set them in continuous motion. Why therefore, should it seem strange that He would also create and set in motion a living, unalterable, unstoppable Spiritual Law – a law that will CAUSE only good results for mankind?
Our Creator is a God of love and He wants the absolute best result for all mankind and that is why He created and set in motion this Spiritual Law. God instructed mankind concerning the punishment for disobedience, and blessings for obedience. He set in motion a way of life that would cause only happiness, joy, peace and prosperity – a successful, abundant life, if we would only choose to live it!
There has to be a cause for every effect! And if there is ever going to be peace, harmony, happiness and abundant well being something must cause it. Out of His deep love and concern for His creation, our loving and caring God provided the cause for every desired good, and obedience to His living Law is the cause for peace, harmony and abundant well being. But the problem is that people choose to ignore and disobey that cause.
Why is there so much sickness, suffering, sorrow, unhappiness and misery in the world? It’s because mankind refuses to do the things that cause good health, happiness, peace and harmony.
Consider this: To transgress the Law of God is to reject the way that would cause the good all humanity wants, and choose the way that causes every evil, including suffering, sorrow and unhappiness. Sin is the transgression of God’s Law and the penalty for sin is death.
These are the basic two ways of life, and as I said before, one way leads to happiness, peace and harmony, good health, and eventually to eternal life. The other way leads to sorrow, suffering, misery, sickness and eventually to eternal death.
Have you ever wondered why God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and even placed a death penalty for disobedience to that command? It was because He wanted them to avoid causing the sufferings, sorrows, sickness pains, death and unhappiness that would come from a multiplicity of evils. Taking the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was, therefore, symbolic of transgressing the Spiritual Law of God.
God knows perfectly well that His way is the only way that a person MUST live to obtain the absolute best for him/her. He wanted mankind to choose the way of every desired good. But mankind was incapable of obeying God’s Spiritual Law, of and by themselves. It required help from God. The tree of life, therefore, was symbolic of receiving God’s free gift of the Holy Spirit – the very love of God (Romans 5:5) – that He gives only to those who obey Him (Acts 5:32). It is the Holy Spirit that fulfills the Spiritual Law (Romans 13:10).
Give this some serious thought. If God put in motion a law that carried the death penalty for disobedience, and warned mankind of that penalty for disobedience – knowing that physical humans could not obey, of and by their selves – wouldn’t it be feasible that He would also make a way for humans to obey that law? If He didn’t, then all mankind would be destroyed for disobedience. He HAD to make a way for humans to obey His Spiritual Law! That way was made possible in the form of His Holy Spirit that joins with the human spirit, making it possible for physical humans to obey His Spiritual law. The whole problem is that most humans are unwilling to obey God, and God only gives His Holy Spirit to those who obey Him.
Did God fully instruct Adam and Eve of this? Yes! You have to remember that God only had written a condensed overall summary of what He taught Adam and Eve. But through the revealed truth, you can see that He obviously HAD TO INSTRUCT THEM FULLY of His way of life – His inexorable Spiritual law. That Law – the cause of everything good – was already in motion when He created Adam and Eve, and failure of God to instruct them concerning it would have been wrong of God. Since God does not do any wrong, then we KNOW that God did instruct them.
He also informed them about the way that causes evils – the transgression of His Spiritual Law – else why would He instruct them concerning the penalty they would have to pay for disobedience of His way.
God gave mankind the freedom of choice. Man could choose to do good and receive eternal life or they could choose to do evil and suffer because it. It is mankind (strongly influence by Satan) that causes all evil that befalls man, not God. God warned us that, “what we sow we shall also reap.”(Gal 6:7)
The Spiritual Law is invisible, like that of the laws of gravity and inertia. Adam and Eve could not see this law, but God told them about it and they had to take His word for that. We can’t see His Law either, but, through His word, God has instructed us concerning this law and we know that it exist.
The Bible contains a lot of symbolic writings – it’s a coded Book. However, the same Bible explains its own meaning of those symbols. For instance, in Revelation 1:20 we see that the word stars is symbolically used to represent angels. In our world today, it’s “weird” to believe in a devil. It seems that most of the world thinks of the spirit world as some kind of myth – a hair-brained assumption that a weirdo has. However, in Revelation 12:9 and 20:2 we are told plainly there is a devil, named Satan. We are also told, in those verses, that symbolically he is represented as a serpent.
We read in Genesis 3:1, “Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Lord God had made…” So now let’s notice Satan’s subtle temptation.
Satan subtly went to Eve first, and through her got to Adam.
“And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods (Hebrew: Elohim, God), knowing good and evil” (Verses 1-5).
Note the shrewd cleverness attributed to Satan here. His first act was to discredit God. In effect, he said, “God’s word can not be relied upon. He said that you can die and are mortal. But God know better; He knows that you have such perfect minds that you can be God.”
God told Adam and Eve that they were mortal and could die. But now Satan disputed that. He said they were immortal souls. They had no proof either way. Satan had appealed to their human vanity.
Adam and Eve had just been created, with perfect human minds – not perfect God minds. Satan had cleverly stirred their human minds with the possibility that they possessed intellectual powers so great that they could produce their own knowledge of what is good and what is evil – which is God’s prerogative alone. It requires the creative intellectual power and mind of God to know and rightly discern what is good and what is not. God did not, nor ever would, entrust the right, or power to mankind to decide what should be sin or what should not be sin. However, God does compel us to choose whether to obey Him, or sin!
God’s Spiritual Law automatically causes good if obeyed and evils when disobeyed.
Notice that in Genesis 3 verse 6 that they SAW that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was good for food, pleasant to the eyes, and desired to make them wise. Intellectual vanity seized them and they used human reasoning to make their decision to reject God’s revealed truth. In effect they made the first scientific experiment!
THEY DECIDED that there wasn’t any harm in eating the forbidden fruit. So they ate it and, thereby, they rejected God.
Through human reasoning and vanity they chose to decide for themselves what was good and what was evil. They decided that the tree was good for food, and pleasant to the eyes, and desired to make them wise, whereas, God had told them DO NOT EAT OF IT, LEST YOU DIE. If God came to you and told you not to eat a certain fruit because you would die, would you eat it? Wouldn’t His command cause you to think that perhaps it was poisoned or unfit for human consumption? Would you have to experiment to see if He was telling you the truth?
After Satan had brainwashed them with the possibility that God was wrong, Adam and Eve risk their lives to see if God was right, and since they didn’t immediately die, they must have came to the assumption that God had lied to them.
In choosing to disobey God, they rejected the God-centered way of His Spiritual Law. Humanity has continued taking to themselves the prerogative to choose what is good and what is evil – and doing what seem right in their own eyes ever since. They continue to disobey God and reject His revealed truth and they continuously suffer grievously for it – and then blame God for all the misery that they suffer.
The process that Adam and Eve used is very clear – it’s precisely the same scientific method used by modern science today. They 1) rejected revealed truth, 2) used observation, 3) experimented 4) relied on human reasoning.
Adam and Eve died as a result of their experiment, just like God said they would. But before they died, they produced the first criminal – the first murderer. Their scientific experiment was missing the vital dimension in knowledge.
It is beyond the powers of man to learn much of the vital, basic knowledge – important knowledge such as what is man, why man was put on earth and for what purpose? If God created man for a purpose, what is that purpose and how can man achieve it? What are the real true values of life? How did the earth really come to be formed and set in motion? When and just how old is the earth anyway? When did man really come into being? Did man really evolve from monkeys, or was there actually a divine creation?
It seems that man cannot even discover the way to peace! You cannot achieve true lasting peace through war. It’s never going to happen!
Scientist, philosophers and historians exert a great deal of time, thought, research and thinking, searching for the answers to these vital questions. After hundreds of years all they can come up with are “educated” hypotheses, theories and guesses – yet they failed to discover any real solid conclusive PROOF to even support those “educated” GUESSES!
The missing dimension in knowledge of those basic important things is what man really needs to know. But, search as he might, man cannot know them except through revelation.
As I stated earlier, when Adam and Eve made the decision to reject God’s revealed truth, by eating of the forbidden fruit, they took to themselves the prerogative to decide what they thought should be considered good or what is evil.
Ever since Adam and Eve, humanity has followed in their footsteps. They continue to determine for themselves what they think is right for them. They choose to live the way that causes misery, suffering, sorrow, sickness, death and every evil in life – a way that is contrary to the cause of every good – a way that transgresses the Spiritual Law of God. Then they have the audacity to blame God for all their misery, and think bad of Him.
We live in a sick, sick world!
Humanity has made themselves competitors of their Creator God. In Romans 8:7 we are told that: “The carnal mind is enmity [hostile] against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be (emphases mine).”
So, just what then, is the missing dimension in all knowledge? It’s the revealed knowledge of God – which mankind has rejected. The Holy Bible is Gods revelation to mankind of basic knowledge. In it, you can find instruction, history, revelation of basic knowledge, and prophecy. You will not find all knowledge in it, but only the basic, foundational knowledge that is otherwise unattainable to man.
When the source of knowledge is based on an assumption that has been taken carelessly for granted without any proof, a false premise is created. It has no supporting evidence on which to give the assumption a foundation. When the basic hypotheses or premise is in error, everything built upon it will fall with it.
The tools of science; observation, experimentation, and reason, are not wrong. But when revelation is ignored or rejected errors occur. Revelation is the missing dimension of all knowledge. Without it, false ideas are formed and built on. A good example is that of the theory of evolution. It has absolutely no supporting evidence, proof, or facts. It is purely based on an assumption that was formed on a false idea that it may be possible. You simply cannot get life from non-life – without divine intervention. Evolution could not have happened and certainly did not! Revealed truth confirms that!
God created man and sent along an Instruction Manual with His creation. It is the foundation of all knowledge. It doesn’t contain all knowledge. It contains the basic, otherwise unobtainable knowledge that provides the bases for proper foundations. It provides the direction for which to acquire further knowledge.
Our God intended for man to produce additional knowledge.
God gave us eyes with which to see – to observe. He provided us with hands and feet to explore and measure. He also provided the means to produce laboratories – and hence experimentation. Our Creator gave us awesome minds capable of thinking and reasoning. He virtually gave us the basis – the foundation – the premise – the concept and means to produce knowledge. God knew that we had to start off in the right direction. If a train started off from Houston Texas heading in the wrong direction it might end up in Atlanta Georgia instead of the right destination. It’s important that the right direction is first firmly established. It’s just as important that we start off in the right direction to insure that we reach the right destination, the true premise, and the proper approach to the production of true and right knowledge.
God started us in the right direction by providing the basis – the foundation – to learn and acquire true knowledge through revelation, observation, experimentation, and human reasoning. The first humans, Adam and Eve, rejected the right direction and mankind has continued to reject that basic foundation of all knowledge ever since. They have looked to false premises and erroneous hypotheses – rejecting God’s foundation – in their effort to acquire knowledge.
Humanity has failed to solve their problems and find the cures to world ills because they have failed to produce right and proper knowledge.
When a manufacturing company builds an electric appliance they send along with that appliance an instruction manual. Our Creator God sent along with His creation – mankind – the Holy Bible. It is His INSTRUCTION MANUAL for His creation. It provides the fundamental essential knowledge so that we can know how to live a healthy, prosperous, happy and long life. But mankind rejected God’s reveal knowledge written in the Holy Bible and set about to produce their own knowledge without God.
Humanity has suffered for six thousand years in misery, unhappiness and appalling evils because they rejected the revealed knowledge of God – the essential knowledge that would show us the way to lasting happiness and good health. The sad, sick, miserable, appalling conditions of life should provide conclusive proof – for those willing to see – that humanity has rejected the most vital dimension of knowledge.
If mankind had of accepted God’s way, His knowledge and lived by it, they would have been extremely happy, living in a beautiful harmonious world! A world free of disease, suffering, sorrow and even death!
Be encouraged by knowing that, even though all mankind since Adam and Eve has rejected the way that causes a beautiful harmonious world, Jesus Christ is coming soon to establish a beautiful joyful world. You will be there! God has a grand purpose for creating you!
Remember that I told you that Creation is still going on. When God created mankind, He planned two stages for his creation. The first stage was to create the physical, flesh and blood man. The second stage was to create the spiritual characteristics of God within that man, so that he could become an actual spirit Son of God.
God freely offered Adam eternal life. To receive that gift, Adam had to make the right choice. If he (and of course, Eve) had of made the choice to believe what God instructed him and accepted God-revealed knowledge he would have been able to freely eat of the tree of life (symbolic of receiving God’s Holy Spirit). He would have been impregnated with the God-life, spirit-life and he would have had the power to develop the spiritual characteristics of God.
Adam’s creation would have been completed in his own life-time. He would have been changed from mortal to immortal – from a physical material composition, to a spirit composition, even as God is!
However, Adam chose to reject the basic knowledge from God, and he, thereby, cut himself off from the tree of life. Mankind, whether they believe it or not, has made the same exact decision ever since. In so doing, they LIMITED the acquisition of knowledge, to their human minds, to that of the physical, mostly based on false premises.
Here’s a vital key to understanding. Mankind cannot acquire the needed knowledge of the spiritual until God gives them His Holy Spirit (symbolized by the tree of Life). And that knowledge comes ONLY THROUGH OBEDIENCE. (Acts 5:32) Adam chose to disobey!
Mankind has been going its OWN-WAY ever since – trying to govern itself, developing physical knowledge often based on false premises. They developed the ‘GET” way of life, with unconcern for the good of others.
It is OUR (all mankind’s) decision to reject God’s way, our choice to live the way that we think we should live and our rejection of God’s rule over us that caused all the tremendous evils, suffering and sorrow that has befallen this world. It is the root cause for all the illiteracy, poverty, disease, filth and squalor, suffering, sorrow and death. THERE IS A CAUSE FOR EVERY EFFECT.
And some have the audacity to blame God!
We have an education system – It’s an education system that has no knowledge of the purpose of life. Man’s physical knowledge can produce computers, fly men to the moon and back again, build huge buildings and produce awesome weapons of mass destruction. Yet it cannot solve mankind’s basic problems of life.
WHY?
It’s because the basic problems of life are spiritual and mankind has rejected spiritual knowledge – rejected God’s Spiritual Law – the way that produces peace, harmony and the ultimate good for all!
Is mankind doomed to its ultimate fate – eternal death for their disobedience? Will God just sit back and watch mankind destroy itself – never to live again?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Remember God’s spiritual creation is still going on.
Job asked: “If a man die, shall he live again?” Then he answers the question in a statement that should give hope to all: “All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shall call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands” (Job 14:14-15).
Most people fail to realize the importance of the last part of Job’s statement. It is a vital key to understanding the purpose of life.
Carefully read it again and think about it!
“Thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.”
Job understood that he was merely a divine workmanship in the hands of his Creator. He realized that he was just a piece of clay in the hands of the Master Potter.
Isaiah the prophet explains this: “But now, O Lord, thou art our father, we are the clay, and thou our potter, and we are all the work of thy hand (Isaiah 64:8).
Job knew that God would call him from the grave, in a resurrection, to have a desire to finish the work of His hands. We, all mankind, are likened to clay models with which God will mold and shape into the spiritual product that he desires.
When God created man, as recorded in Genesis chapter 1, He formed and shaped man physically into God’s image. As physical humans we do not have the spiritual character of the perfect God. However, God is calling a few during this lifetime, and if they respond, yield and grow, God begins to re-form and shape them spiritually – the spiritual creation! As they continue yielding, growing and staying the course, they will develop the spiritual character of God and become more and more like Him spiritually.
It’s important that we understand that God first created, molded, and shaped the physical man. From the physical man He will mold and shape a spiritual Son of God. For most, the spiritual creation will not take place until “Thou shall call,” everyone who has ever lived, to come forth from the grave – in a resurrection – then, “…thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands – the spiritual creation.
God’s plan for this grand and glorious purpose called for a duration of seven thousand years. The seven days of the creation (re-creation See: Psalm 104:30) week in Genesis 1 pictured this seven thousand year plan. All seven 24-hour days pictured the seven millennial days of the spiritual creation.
God has left the first six millennial days for man to write his lesson in human experience – more, or less, to go his own way. Under the sway and influence of Satan, man made the choice of relying on himself. So, God is allowing man six thousand years to live his life according to his own choice, without the help of God’s Holy Spirit. God wanted to demonstrate beyond all doubt that man is utterly helpless to live a way of life that produces the ultimate good for all. He wanted mankind to come to see their absolute need for God’s Holy Spirit and way of Life. So, for the first six millennial days, all mankind (except those whom God specially and individually called) are learning what it is like to live life “their” way, apart from God.
Whatever lot in life you find yourself today is the results of your way. Don’t blame God! YOU made the choices that resulted in where you are, what you are and what you have. The character that you developed was YOUR choice. You are living YOUR WAY by your own choice. God didn’t cause you to be the way you are – YOU DID!
God is allowing Satan to work his work of deception and evil during the six millennial days (six thousand years). But on the seventh millennial day the Living Jesus Christ will begin His work of salvation, bringing truth and salvation to the world. During that thousand years Satan will not be allowed to do any of his evil work. He shall be imprisoned!
But what is Salvation?
“By grace you are saved through faith… For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:8, 10).
It’s important to know that the “we” in the New Testament language means truly converted christians. And in this verse it is saying that “we” were created! It’s not speaking of the creation of man here but the creation of truly converted Christians.
And for what purpose were we created? Notice it, “Unto good works” – the development of perfect spiritual character! We are to “walk in them” – the “good works, which God hath before ordained.”
How are the “we” being created?
In Christ Jesus!
Truly converted Christians are being molded, fashioned, changed transformed, “unto good works” by Jesus Christ – to the holy perfect character of God.
We are His workmanship! Salvation, then, is a process!
Satan – the god of this world (2nd Corinthians 4:4) – has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9). But he has especially deceived the world concerning salvation. Through his false ministers (all claiming to be ministers of righteousness) he has convinced the vast majority of the world into believing that all you have to do is accept Jesus Christ - with no works – and you are “saved.”
No, The Bible states that there are “works of salvations.” And you best be finding out what they are and be found doing them!
The works of salvation do not save you. You are saved through faith. But, if you have the faith, you will be doing the works of salvation THROUGH THAT FAITH! Remember that, “Faith without works is dead.” (Read and study James 2:17-18.)
We are told that, “he that shall endure until the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 10:22; 24:13). “Shall be” is future tense – at a future time! If you have to endure to the end to be saved, then it should be plain that you are not saved yet. During your life, as you grow in Christ, you are in the process of being saved – and shall be saved when Christ returns.
You are saved when you are transformed from physical flesh and blood to spiritual composition.
Satan in an effort to deceive the world doesn’t tell you that a truly converted Christian becomes a “new creation” in Christ Jesus. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature (creation)…” (2nd Corinthians 5:17). And that we are to, “be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is [being] created in righteousness and true holiness” (Ephesians 4:23-24).
So you see, it all begins in the mind. The first step to salvation is repentance. It is a change of mind – your way of thinking. It is in our mind that we believe! After repentance and baptism, by the laying on of the pastor’s hands, you receive the indwelling Holy Spirit. It is by the Holy Spirit that the mind is renewed as you grow in the faith.
You must remain repentant and yielding, and through the process of growing through continued Bible study, to learn to live by “every Word of God,” and of being constant in prayer, to remain close to God, that the very mind of God is developed within you. You become a new creation in righteousness and true holiness!
Now you must be “born again.”
Adam and Eve were made solely of matter – physical flesh and blood. A baby is born solely of matter. Nicodemus understood what the physical birth was, but he didn’t know what Jesus meant when He said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see (translation: enter) the Kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Nicodemus pictured entering a second time into the womb, but Jesus explained what he meant.
As we were born of the flesh (physical composition), so we must also be born of the spirit (spiritual composition). A transformation from a physical being to a spirit being!
The second birth (born again) is to be changed from a physical flesh and blood composition to a spiritual composition. You are born from this physical life into the spiritual life. This is further explained in 1st Corinthians chapter 15. (Read and study John 3:3-8; 1st Corinthians 15). (A booklet explaining this subject will be forthcoming in the near future.)
Repentance is the first step! You must be willing to change and actually desire to change! You must come to see how wrong your ways are. How wrong the ways of this world are. That thinking and living contrary to the revealed laws of God are wrong. You must desire to change once you see how wrong you are. Then submit yourself to God through constant prayer and continued Bible study. Desiring to learn the right way to live. Then God can work with you!
In this life (for those being called) we have to become conformed to God’s will. Our thinking and our very way of life have to be changed until we really do become – in spiritual character – new creatures in Christ.
We are the clay models in the hands of our Master Potter. He will form, mold, shape us, as He desires. Then we will be turned into the finished spiritual creation.
In Ephesians 3:9 we are told that all things were created by Jesus Christ.
Jesus, then, created the vast universe, the planets and the earth. He also created the first man – Adam. The entire creation began in Christ Jesus – and will be finished by Him.
Our spiritual creation begins in Him also.
Jesus became our living example. He came into the world to lead the way for us. He is the first born (from human – physical composition, to spirit – spiritual composition) from the dead (Romans 8:29).
During His human life, Jesus was the begotten Son of God, but not yet a born Son of God. He became the born Son of God by a resurrection from the death (Romans 1:4). He is the example of what is in store for all truly converted Christians.
We come now to the ultimate purpose of human life.
It’s so awesome that it’s beyond the capacity of most to understand. But it’s clearly revealed in your Bible! Millions celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But I am convinced that they do not believe that He was raised from the dead. Most do not even truly believe that He even died at all! The Bible says He rose from the dead. How many even believe that Jesus, who died, is really alive today? How many know what He has been doing these nearly two thousand years since He ascended to the Throne of His Father? Do you?
You can know what He has been doing, what He is doing, and what He will do in the near future, by reading and studying the entire book of Hebrews. Read it! Expect astonishing and happy surprises.
Begin at Hebrews 1:1.
“God, who at sundry (various) times and in divers (different) manners spake in times past unto the father by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds…”
The Moffatt translation of the Bible correctly renders “all things” as the entire universe!
Continue, “…who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person.” Moffatt translates “express image” as “stamped with God’s own character.” “…and upholding all things by the word of His power.” Moffatt translates that as; “sustaining the whole universe by the word of His power” (verses 2-3).
God Almighty has appointed the living Jesus Christ, His Son, as chief executive in the administration of the Government of God over the entire vast universe!
Truly converted Christians, in whom is God’s Holy Spirit, are called heirs of God, and join-heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17; Galatians 3:29; 4:7; Titus 3:7; etc.). Do you suppose that could means we are appointed to share rulership of the entire vast universe with Christ?
In Hebrew 2:6, quoting from Psalm 8:4-6, asked the question: “What is man that thou art mindful of him?” Good question. What is there about man that God is concerned about him?
Have you ever stopped to ponder that same question? What, or who, are you that God should be concern about you?
Carefully consider the incredible answer.
“Thou madest him a little lower than the angels.” Note it. He made man much higher than animals, yet lower than angels. Angels are composed of spirit (see chapter 1:5-7, 13-14). “Thou crownest him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all things in subject under him, he left nothing that is not put under him…”(Verse 8).
Remember that “all things” is more properly translated as the universe. Could it mean that God has put the whole entire vast universe under control of man? That is so incredibly awesome that even theologians have trouble believing it to be so. But continue and notice the last sentence: “But now we see not yet all things put under him.”
If He has not yet put all things in subjection to man, it strongly implies that it is something that will happen in the future. Man has proven himself incapable of such awesome rulership in the physical flesh. Mankind cannot even rule itself here on earth! We do not have the fantastic incredible power that would be required to handle such an awesome task or ruling the universe. Man in the physical state is too puny and weak. However, complete control of the vast universe will be placed under man’s control when mankind has at last become spirit born Son’s of God, having all the incredible power and intelligence of God!
Right now, “We see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angel…” (mortal, like we are now) “…for suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour…” Jesus was crowned as the executive ruler over the universe, “…that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all thing, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (verse 10).
Did you understand what that says?
Truly converted Christian whom God is calling, who repent, come to believe God – believe what He says and the knowledge he reveals to us, and then act on what we know and understand, - we become God’s sons when He puts within us His Holy Spirit. We are the SOn He is bringing into supreme glory!
Understand this now, “…to make the captain of their salvation…” Yes, Jesus Christ is the Captain of our salvation! Captain may also be translated as Pioneer, someone who has gone on before us. Jesus was also our Pioneer who has gone on to matchless glory. He has already inherited all things – the vast universe! But notice further, “…to make the captain of their salvation perfect…” How was He made perfect? “…through sufferings.”
“…He is not ashamed to call them brethren” (verse 11). Christ, in all His glory, is not ashamed to call US – who have His Spirit – who rely on and obey Him – brethren!
Notice Hebrews 5:8-9, “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.”
Jesus suffered, but He learned from the suffering and He became perfect by it!
Are you beginning to understand?
You were born for a purpose – an incredibly awesome purpose! You were born to become a member of the God Family – and actual Son of God!
Satan has been trying to upset God’s plan. But God foreknew all that has happened and allowed it for a purpose. God is not trying to repair the damage, or trying to restore things back to a condition as good as Adam before the fall, no, this life is merely the physical material creation. God is not going to restore this world – He is going to replace it!
Redemption is the great spiritual creation! God is creating in us something infinitely superior to Adam before he sinned. He is creating something higher than angels or archangels. He is creating the supreme masterpiece of all God’s creation. He is creating Sons with perfect holy, righteous character. Yes, God is creating SONS of GOD from humans!
But, just what is character?
Character is the possession and practice of love, patience, mercy, faith, kindness, gentleness, meekness, temperance, self-restraint, and right self-direction. Character involves knowledge, wisdom, purpose, ability, all properly controlled and developed, and through independent choice.
Character is when a person through independent free choice has come to know, and to choose, and to do, what is right. God is creating character in us during our lives by allowing things to happen where we have to exercise our freedom of choice to choose the right as opposed to the wrong. It also requires the individual to believe and know that what God instructs is what’s right. You must believe and know that God does not lie and, therefore, what He says is the truth and describes the right way of life.
Holy, righteous character is something that is developed only through experience. Experience requires time, and circumstances. Therefore God creates time, and God also creates circumstances that produce character.
A round object will roll downhill by the power of gravity. It doesn’t think about how it will roll and then make a choice in the matter. Liquids will naturally run in channels through brooks and rivers into the ocean. Inanimate things have no mind, no free choice and no character. Animals do not know or understand what sin is and do not sin. They follow the instinct that God designed within them, or by the training of people. They do not have character.
Through seven thousand years of experience, God is taking the human family through a character building process, of which the results will be that, even, "as we have borne the image of the earthy [mortal Adam], we shall also bear the image of the heavenly" – Christ Jesus immortal, the "second" Adam (1st Corinthians 15:49).
All mankind, which includes you and I, once fashioned, shaped, molded according to God's Purpose, even we shall be LIKE HIM, for we shall see Him as He is (I John 3:1-2).
There are only two ways of life. One is God’s way, according to His laws as summed up in the Ten Commandments. The other is Satan’s way of lawlessness, evil, competition, greed and vanity.
All suffering-all unhappiness, fear, misery, and death-has come from the transgression of God's Law. Living by that great Law of Love, then, is the only way to peace, happiness, and joy. So God placed man on this planet to learn that lesson – to learn it through generations of experience.
As Jesus Christ learned obedience through the things that he suffered, we too are learning obedience through the things that we suffer. Yes, we learn by suffering.
God’s revelation has always been available to man. God revealed to man the right way of life that would produce only continued happiness and harmony. Yet man has exercised his free choice to turn his back on God and His revealed right way to live. Man has suffered all through history for rebelling against God, and then blaming God for all their suffering.
If mankind would only obey God the suffering would stop! It’s the wrong way of life that causes suffering. The right way of life produces only continued happiness and prosperity – there is a cause for every effect!
Those called by God and responding – having God’s Holy Spirit – now, in this life, are already “begotten’ Sons of God. In prayer they can truthfully call God “Father.” “Beloved, now are we (Remember “we” are the truly converted Christians) the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.” (1st John 3:2). Our appearance, then, (when we are transformed from human to spiritual) shall be like that of Christ.
What does Christ look like?
In Revelation 1:14-16 we find a description of what He looks like: “His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white snow; and his eyes were as flames of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they were burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters… and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.”
Once we are actually born of God – by a resurrection (or transformation, if still living when Jesus returns) we shall be composed of spirit and we shall be like God, like Jesus Christ – completely sinless. “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (1st John 3:9).
Jesus was born of a human parent, though sired by God. He lived a human life and obviously suffered. He was murdered in a horrible painful way. He died and rose from the dead and became the Son of God. This whole process is what the whole human race is going through and, like Jesus, our lives (if we do not “harden our hearts”) shall have the same end results – we, too, will be Sons of God!
Jesus was the “Firstborn” of many brethren. He was the first Son of God, and there will be MANY MORE sons of God! “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Romans 8:29).
The many brethren – also Sons of God, are you and I my friend!
At that time we shall be changed from mortal to immortal. "For our conversation [citizenship] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body..." (Philemon 3:20-21). How glorious is the TRUTH – promising a glorious, everlasting happiness in the Family of God!
Do you begin to comprehend why you were born?
So what is the purpose of life?
It is this, God, through mankind, is really reproducing Himself after His own kind – for we are, upon real conversion, actually begotten as sons (yet unborn) of God. Then through study of God's revelation in His Word, living by His every Word, constant prayer, daily experience with trials and tests, we grow spiritually more and more like God, until, at the time of the resurrection we shall be instantaneously changed from mortal into immortal – composed of Spirit – we shall then be born of God – actually born into the God FAMILY!
The purpose of this human life is for God to create more members of the God family through us! A Son of God is a God also – a member of the God Family!
Do you really grasp it?
Your destiny, if you do not rebel, is to be born into the Kingdom of God, which is the divine FAMILY of God. That is the whole purpose of your life. It’s a far too wonderful truth to fully grasp or understand now, but your mind will be filled with awe-inspiring joy and glory. It gives a new meaning to life! A meaning that is so wonderful that the human mind will never comprehend the full heights of its splendor.
But, of course, it means that you will have to totally reject and deny all the injurious, evil, rebellious ways that have falsely seem so bright and alluring to this world. It means that you will have to strive to obey God and do His will in all things.
But your eyes will be open at last to the great deception – the scales will fall from your blinded vision – you'll see the meaning of life, its great purpose, as you never dreamed it could be. Giving up this world's evils, temptations and pitfalls – its snares and delusions which have glittered and then ended only in sorrow and suffering – is but emerging from gross darkness into the splendor of true light, and of happiness and joy forever!
In the words of Peter, you will, "rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of GLORY"(1 Peter 1:8)!
Were you born for a purpose?
